This week Cin7 went live with its Walmart Marketplace integration in the Cin7 Supply Chain App Store.
The integration makes it easy for Cin7 customers to manage stock and sales as they expand their omnichannel business in the US.
Walmart Marketplace gives sellers the opportunity to reach millions of customers in the US through Walmart.com, the retail giant’s online presence. More than 110 million unique shoppers visit Walmart.com every month, creating a rich opportunity for businesses to increase sales and brand awareness.
“The Walmart Marketplace offers a tremendous opportunity for multi-channel sellers seeking additional flexibility and reach,” says Cin7 Founder and Chief Architect Danny Ing. “We are very pleased to bring this resource into the Cin7 portfolio of integrations to help manage the complexities of multi-channel supply chain management.”
Cin7 and Walmart Marketplace
When you become a seller on Walmart.com, you maintain control over your inventory, pricing, fulfillment and customer service, including returns.
Cin7 makes it easy for users to do this seamless order processing and inventory synchronization between Walmart and Cin7. This includes downloading orders from Walmart, updating stock levels, and incorporating customer details into Cin7 from Walmart.com orders.
Walmart Marketplace Details
Walmart seeks serious retailers and brands that provide “first-class customer service, a compelling product assortment, competitive pricing and fast, reliable fulfillment” for Walmart Marketplace.
Walmart asks businesses interested in joining the marketplace to submit a Seller Application online. The application takes 10 minutes to complete, and the approval process takes up to two weeks. If Walmart approves your application you will be invited to become a seller.
Walmart does not charge sellers any setup, subscription or monthly fees, but does charge a referral fee for every walmart.com sale (fees vary by product category).
