  • FEATURES: Display and edit customer credit on invoice section of service sales, warn when Amazon Business order delivery will fall outside of business hours, and more!

Feature 1: Display and edit customer credit on invoice section of service sales

Impact area:

Sales

Introduction:

Previously, in a sale, customer credits can be added and viewed from the quote section only. Previous releases have added the customer credit section to multiple screens of the simple and advanced sale including order and invoice. This change has now been applied to service sales.

This will make it easier for users to capture customer credits at all stages of an order and avoid accidentally applying overpayments to the sale.

Feature 2: Warn when Amazon Business order delivery will fall outside of business hours

Impact area:

Amazon Business (US only)

Introduction:

Amazon Business has introduced a Business Hour Delivery Rate (BHDR) to help customers receive orders reliably and on time. Cin7 Core now warns our US customers if an Amazon Business order delivery will happen outside of business hours or on a weekend.

This helps users improve their BHDR with Amazon Business and delivery windows for their customers.

Feature 3: Account mapping must map unique accounts to each required account field (GRNI/GINR)

Impact area:

Account settings

Introduction:

Cin7 Core must map accounts in your chart of accounts to certain required accounts (inventory control, tax liability, etc.) in order for accounting transactions to be correctly generated. When an account is mapped to more than one required account field, this can cause accounting problems.

With this release, an additional source of account mapping duplication and errors has been fixed. It is no longer possible to select GRNI/GINR accounts in your purchase process customization settings (General Settings) which are duplicated in your account mappings.

Feature 4: Print product label from a product’s profile

Impact area:
