Cin7 is part of the Datum Connect Group which has been providing website design and development services since February 2002, building more than 1,000 successful websites for companies in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and India.

Today, eight years on, the company employs between 16 and 22 staff (depending on workloads) and serves more than 800 businesses. The secret? Determination, tenacity and a fun attitude, together with an intelligent, but practical, understanding of business systems that work for you, not the other way around!

Danny Ing, Founder of Datum Connect (2002) and Cin7 (2011) won the Marketing Association's Gold Award for an innovative tool called e-Publisher, one of the first content management systems for non-technical users. Competition for the award consisted of some giants in the media industry such as Saatchi and Saatchi and Aim Proximity. e-Publisher was used by many of the large premier companies in New Zealand such as The Warehouse, ASB Bank, HP, Air NZ, Fisher & Paykel, Stuff.co.nz and Pumpkin Patch.

Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards (2009)
Datum Connect, Cin7’s parent company, won the Vero Excellence In Business Support Awards in 2009, a prestigious event attended by Prime Minister John Key. Building more than 1,000 websites and still retaining 80% of its customer base over an 8 year period is a great achievement for any service company, let alone in website development where high customer attrition is normal.

We have also reduced commuting by improving our sales systems - where franchisees used to need 3-4 client meetings; they now only require 1-2 to achieve the same sale.

Cin7 actively promotes its own environmental efforts through a 95% paperless office and reduction of commuting time through reduced meetings and flexible working arrangements, offering a successful working example to our clients.
